The first time I used a 35 mm film camera, I knew that I was on the right path in my life. The joy that my Intro to Analog class brought to me is priceless. I learned so much about myself as an artist and who I wanted to be as a photographer.

Fractured In Time, 2024

This project was based on my own experience of dissociation. I showcased how memories during a dissociative episode are usually blurred, fractured, and fleeting, yet sometimes a snippet is still able to stand out. This piece features my son and serves as a deeply personal reminder of just how sweet and temporary our lives truly are.

This project was selected from over 300 submissions by guest juror Alice Stone-Collins for the 2026 Annual Juried Student Exhibition at the Robert & Margaret Carolla Arts Exhibition Center.
